This list is a special way of organizing and prioritizing. It will make your to-do list more manageable.
Here's how to do it:
Step 1: Organize all the things you need to do into 3 categories: Super big and important, fairly important but not huge, and tiny little things.
Step 2: For each day of the week, give yourself 1 big thing, 3 middle-sized things, and 5 small things.
Step 3: Finish all tasks on that day BEFORE going to the next days list. If you have extra time, you can totally take care of tomorrows stuff; but finish today's stuff first, including the little things!
This makes your daily to-do list more manageable and achievable.

And because I'm an awesome person, I've made you a free printable to help with your 5-3-1 list! You can download it at the end of this post.
2. Call a Friend
Sometimes just telling someone "Hey I'm going to vacuum all the rooms in the house tomorrow" will help you get to it.
Or if you're like me, you will literally invite a friend over to come and sit and drink wine and chat with you while you wash the dishes, because otherwise it isn't getting done!
Besides, everything is more fun with a buddy.

Physically set a timer - whether that's a kitchen timer, an alarm on your phone, or not stopping until you're favorite album has played through from start to finish. Work as hard as you can in that time, and then when it's over, stop and rest! Sometimes all you need is something to get you started!
